The Flagler Cares Coalition will meet on May 8^th at 3:00 p.m. This is our general membership meeting that is open to the public.

This meeting will highlight the services provided by Florida Legal Services. Florida Legal Services provides legal services to vulnerable communities via unique projects and community endeavors throughout the state. The Fair Housing project focuses on providing information about protections, rights, and laws under the Federal Fair Housing Act via education, outreach, enforcement, and legal assistance. Additionally, FLS operates projects related to Survivors of Domestic Violence, Connecting Kids to Coverage, Eviction Prevention, and Immigrant and Migrant Rights.

Attorney Joe Cordova will discuss housing related issues and protections that impact the lives of families in need, along with these other services.

We will also be sharing materials for National Prevention Week (May 7-13) and National Fentanyl Awareness Day (May 9)
