Flagler Cares is searching for a new addition to our team! Flagler Cares is seeking qualified candidates for Director of Community Programs. The Director of Community Programs will be responsible for leading a team of Care Coordinators in providing quality health and human services information and resources to help clients achieve health and stability. This position will work closely with the leadership team on business development planning and implementation for the various programs that Flagler Cares provides. The Director of Community Programs will become a subject matter expert for the LINC Referral Management System and its utilization. This position will also work to build and cultivate effective relationships with partner organizations within Flagler County and at the Flagler County Village.
The ideal candidate would have extensive supervisory experience in a social service setting, consisting of 3-5 years of providing direct supervision to a team. They would have knowledge of Flagler County’s health and social care sector and have a proven track record of effectively managing team relationships and partnerships with other community organizations.
Superior organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet frequent deadlines is required. This role will require public speaking and training and will be responsible for promotion of Flagler Cares’ full array of services to the community.
This is a full time exempt/salaried position that can offer flexibility for the right self-motivated and self-driven professional.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a human services field specifically in social work or psychology. A Master’s degree is also preferred. along with supervisory experience is required for this position.
Compensation: Salary range is $60,000 to $75,000 per year for the right candidate. Benefits include a generous PTO allowance, paid holidays,100% employer-funded Health Insurance Plan and Fidelity SIMPLE IRA plan with employer match to assist with your retirement needs.
All successful candidates must have reliable transportation, possess a valid Florida driver’s license, be insured, have an acceptable driving record and complete a State of Florida mandatory level 2 background screening prior to start of employment.
