Flagler County Coronavirus Relief Fund Rent, Mortgage & Utility Assistance Program

October 12, 2020 Update:  Due to an overwhelming response to the program, we are TEMPORARILY suspending the acceptance of new applications until we can finalize eligibility determination for the applications already in process as of today.  At that time, we will re-evaluate how many more households we can assist and re-open the application process.  In the meantime, you can read more about the eligibility criteria below and request that an application be sent to you if/when the program reopens here.

About the Program

Flagler Cares, in conjunction with the Flagler County Board of County Commissioners, is announcing the availability of assistance through Coronavirus Relief Funds from the Florida Housing Finance Corporation.   Flagler residents who have experienced a hardship or loss of income as a result of COVID-19 may be eligible for assistance with rent, mortgage and utilities.  The aim of the program is to prevent evictions and foreclosures.  Applications for assistance are processed on a first-ready, first-served basis.  We anticipate a significant number of applications and funding is limited so please apply as soon as possible if you think you are eligible.  Please note that households ONLY needing assistance with utilities will NOT be eligible unless they have received a shut off notice.
